The guest rooms, newly refurbished, are spectacular. Founders restaurant, with panoramic skyline views, served a truly classic gourmet dinner. The Library Lounge was a lovely end to the evening, where the selection of Ports, desserts, and the friendly service were better than we can recall having had at competing luxury hotels. I took my sister here to relax about a week before her wedding (since she was very stressed) The spa area is located right near the pool, so you can choose to wait for services poolside. The pool area is beautiful and has a waterfall feature which is very relaxing. I had an amazing facial experience with Sandra. Unfortunately, there seemed to be some confusion over our appointments. There is only one room for facial treatments. Instead of telling me that they couldn’t do the facials at the same time, the staff just kept looking at the appointment screen, acting confused, and talking amongst themselves while my sister and I were trying to relax right next to them in the waiting area. Finally, I asked them what the problem was and they pretended there was no problem initially and then confessed we wouldn’t be able to do the facials simultaneously.
