Where is the Best Martini in Milwaukee, Wisconsin?
I went to Elsa’s with my fiancé for a Valentine’s Day dinner. I was pleasantly surprised how well we were treated, considering that we weren’t buying their really, really expensive drinks. The waitress was really nice and came to check on us often, and she came quickly to bring us a side of ranch.The burgers were literally the best I’ve ever had. He had the cheeseburger, and I had the Greek maiden burger. They were amazing! They were both very tasty and not overly greasy.The drinks were rather expensive. The cheapest drink I remember seeing on the menu was $6.50, and there were glasses of wine and scotch in the $100s! We had a mimosa, which was very good.Overall, this is a really nice place to go for great food and a comfortable atmosphere.Pros + Great foodCons – A bit pricey
THis is such an intimate little club. you get the best of both worlds…small club where you know people or dance floor where you can meet people. THeir music is kickin and their bartenders are the best. Visit this place. Not to mention that there are like 5-10 bars within walking distance.Pros + intimate, busy, great atmosphere
The Bar is fantastic. They serve a limited menu in the bar after the resturaunt portion is closed. The bar atmosphere is modern with good music. It almost feels like NYC. Bring a date here if you want to chill and talk.The regular menu has some interesting sounding dishes but they seem to fall short. The quality is good but there seems to be something missing. If I had to guess I would point the finger at the preparation. Items were sometimes cold and the same dish differs from order to order. I recently visited Sauce and was pleasantly surprised to find that the high quality of food and service has not changed since I first visited the restaurant. Apparently they recently celebrated their five year anniversary, and it’s not for nothing that they are still open after all that time. The food was scrumptious- it was an entirely different menu than I remembered from last time, and the wine list was more impressive than I remember it being. The server was extremely helpful in a wine recommendation. Excellent service, food and atmosphere.
