I am from NY/NJ area. I have been searching for real pizza ever since I got here and God has finally answered my prayer. Since when did a dry, bland cracker with sauce and fake cheese get the priviledge to be called pizza. Look up pizza in the dictionary, you will find “The Flying Pizza!” Someone lied to Donato’s and all these other so called pizza wanna-be joints. The first time I tasted Donatos, I was like wth is this. I was ready to cry because I wasted good money on crappy food. Ever since I found the Flying Pizza, which was over a week ago, I have been there at least 6-7 times. I recommend them to every one I know!!! They truly have the best NY style pizza around. How can it not be, the owner is an Italian from NY…..and he sells it by the slice…..now that right there is proof that its real pizza! Take a pie home and re-heat it on the metalrack of your oven or toaster oven and it taste fresh all over again! Its wonderful. The sicilian slices are just as good as the neopolitan.

Catfish Biff’s has some of the best Pizza in town. I used to eat there daily when I lived in the dorms at OSU and occasionally still swing by campus just to get their pizza. This is carry out only. I am told this is some of the closest you can get to New York style pizza in town. As long as I can remember they close during the summer when classes are out which is normally Mid June to sometime in September.Pros + Great Pizza, Fast

Joseppis still makes their own sausage the old way, and puts on slices, not crumbles. Definitely the best sausaage in the city. The best pizza on the menu is the Deluxe, which features the sausage and pepperoni, with mushrooms, onions and green peppers, provolone and parmesan cheeses. A definite must try! The atmosphere is non-existent, but it is a great place for family or groups, and the prices ae reasonable. The pizza is great, so you dont miss the ambiance of some of the upscale places. Joseppi’s specialty is, simplly… great pizza at a fair price, served in a family atmosphere.

I have been going to The Pizza House for over 20 years and the quality and taste has never changed, Awsome!! It is family owned and this is important to me because the family has a vested interest in every pizza, calzone, ect. that is sent out. “From their Family to Ours”. If you have not been…Put on your “must do list.”Try the calzone w/spagetti sauce!!! YUMMY!Pros + Best Italian food in town, Great service(hard working peopleCons – food is addictive!

I was originally hired as a delivery driver in Fall of 1987 when I transfered to Ohio State from University of Cincinnati. There was an Adriaticos at UC also, and I think that is where the 1st restaurant was started, Jefferson Ave. The manager of Adriaticos in Columbs was a delivery driver at the Adriaticos in Cincinnati, Bill Davidson. I knew hm at UC and we partied together. When I transfered to Ohio State, I went in to get a job, and who should I see when I went in to apply but Bill Davidson! He immediately gave me a job as a driver. Bill eventually left and a few more managers came and went. One day the owner, Greg Fortney came in for what I think was a suprise visit to inspect the restaurant in Columbus. He fired the manager and asked me if I would like to become the new manager. I said, sure!It was at the end of the school year around June 1988. There was not a lot of business at the time because the students were all gone. There were only about 2 other employes, so I
