Where is the Best Pizza in Dallas, Texas?

I decided to give Sal’s a try after reading it was voted Dallas’ “Best Pizza 2006” by the readers here. After reading the reviews, I had some preconcieved notions about Sal’s. From the reviews I expected the restaurant to be a bit smaller than it was, and I expected a “Pizza Naazi” to work there. Neither was the case. The restaurant was about average size – not small but not big either. I didn’t feel the tables were necessarily “packed closely together.” And concerning the service, one reviewer described the service as “rude” and someone else described it as “rough”. The waiter we had was friendly and we didn’t experience any negativity. It was the slow time of the day, so I guess they had no reason to be on edge. However, there were 2 guys standing in the workers area that sounded like New Yorkers. They were talking loud and non-stop for about 10 or more minutes. So I can see how those with that type of personality can come across as “rough”. Us Texans tend to talk slower and more rel

We went here to celebrate my nephew’s recent return from Iraq & they made us feel right at home. It was 13 of us & unlike so many other restaurants, they did not add their own tip in the bill and even asked us if we were paying one check or seperate checks.-They did not freak out when the 2 year old started getting restless & kept wanting to wonder around..Our waitress even helped us catch the little one. The BOTTOM LINE>-On a date or just to eat good Italian food, just go!!!- You will really enjoy it. Pros + Good food & helpful waiters-Whether with a date or the spouse & kidsCons – The lasagna had too much ??chili?? powder & kinda upset my stomach

I was pleasantly surprised when I went back into Natale’s recently. The new owner has painted it and decorated it wonderfully. We were welcomed as soon as we walked in and enjoyed a great, cozy dinner. The cook is the same – so it’s the same food as we remembered. Prices are great, too! They’ve also done a lot to welcome our little 3 year old. It’s very family friendly – especially on Wednesday nights when kids are free.Pros + Good, cheap Italian food. Great pizza to go!

I have been coming to Antonio’s for years, and it keeps getting better and better. I have tried just about everything on the menu, and have never been dissapointed. My personal favorites are the osso buco, tortellini, and all of the veal dishes. Specials that I have had include rabbit, filet mingon, and arctic char….all were phenomenal. Aside from the great food, the bar atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. Three new flat screens with HD enhance the experience if you want to catch a ball game, and soon the large windows in the bar will open up like doors to the patio for open air libations. While the late night bar crowd can get lively, you never have to worry about screaming over the thump thump of a dj, or the grinding of a band. That being said, you never know when the acoustic guitar may come off the wall and you find yourself singing bar songs with 20 other happy patrons. And if the late night antics give you the munchies, the new bar menu is the perfect solution. From b

Roccos is as true NY style as I have found in Dallas. They use top quality ingredients, their sauce is amazing and the crust is perfect. I Recommend the grilled or BBQ chicken, or the Tex Mex.
