It would not be a good idea to get a bonsai at any big store such as Lowe’s. They will be dead within 6 months, in fact, most of them are nearly dead by the time they get to those stores. Your best thing is to get one directly from the person who grows it. I would do a search for ‘bonsai texas’ and see what comes up.
