Hello! It depends on how much you want to pay (and if you’re afraid of heights). I’ve been to the Academy many times, and as a general rule of thumb, you need to be educated about the theatre. The theatre boasts four levels of seating, from the parquet (also known as orchestra) to the amphitheater. Because of the ornate architecture, the general structure of the house is supported by beams or columns to help bear the weight of the enormous building. This is important to note because every section (other than the parquet), has areas that have partially obstructed views. If you have medical concerns that would require to you stretch your legs, or would prevent you from leaning or craning your neck to see around these objects, it would be wise to not sit in these areas. Call the box office and let them know if you have problems that would require more leg room. Also, the parquet is deep, meaning that there are 22 rows of seats BEFORE the overhang of the balcony and other levels begin. So
