Vegetarians have it kind of hard in this city, espeically if the spouse is a die hard carnivore. But at Lorenzo’s everyone can leave happy and still have enough money for a movie afterwards. The generous portions of pasta ( chicken alfredo for you canrivores- or the ziti and marinara for the vegetarians) may mean you’ll be taking home some leftovers. The menu has tons of options for the vegetarians (veggie to the max pizza, lots of pastas and some old world favorites like lasagna for the carnivores). The salad is fresh and perfectly paired with the house dressing (made from scratch daily- they really should bottle this!). The wine list is big for a little place ( the texas sweet red is great with the chocolate walnut pie- or if you’re lucky, the chef sometimes makes the best canoli outside of Rome.) Give it a try- especially if you need great food for an office party in the medical center area- or if you’re like me and a vegetarian, or like my husband and a die hard carniovre- Lo

This restaurant was recommended by a Professional Aquaintance. Finding it was easy once we were seated, the Waiters (2) were hovering over us, hurrying us to order. We ordered some drinks and said give us some time. The waiter left and came back imediately and continued to want us to order. I ordered an appetizer which is the Lump Crab avocado. He left and was back in 3 minutes wanting to finish the order. We fetlt pressured into order. This is an expensive restauraunt and we should be left to enjoy the experience of the location and the history of this restaurant. They brought out a Black eye pea soup that was cold and had absolutely no flavor even as I added a bunch of salt. The Crab was brought to us and It looked more like a dip and I thought it needed some chips or something to go with it. We ordered the Riby Eeye and Salmon. After what was in our opinion an very long time, I asked the waiter as to the Status of our food. He did not know and went to find out. He came back 5 minut

After an extremely stressful day, walking into Piatti was an immediate turn around of my husband and I moods. From the moment we walked into the door, we could see that it was a very busy evening. The hostess immediately made eye contact and with a smile told us there would be a 15 minute wait. We decided to go to the bar as we waited and was supprisingly help quickly. After only waiting 10 minutes, a waiter informed us that our table was ready, grab our drinks, and guided us to our table. From there on we were confused to whom was our actual waiter but had the best dinner we’ve had in such a long time. As we left, the waiter opened the door and thanked us again. We can’t wait to come back. Thank you Piatti for making our day better!!

My wife and I spent a wonderful anniversary on the river on a Saturday evening back in mid April. I knew we would have to wait since the place is not very big. The wait was only an hour so we just went to another restaurant just down the way and had drinks till our hour was up. He had the guacamole for two to start off with with a few beers. They both were great!.. beers were ice cold and we could not stop eating the guacamole Our waittress was very pleasent had given us just enough attention to make sure our drinks were never empty. We had the blackened prime rib which was very tasty and cooked just right. I would reccommend Boudro’s to anyone over one of the chain steak restaurants you can go to one of those next time your are in Arlington or Waco.
