Where is the Best Salad in Charlotte, North Carolina?

In my opinion, Firebirds has the best burger in Charlotte. Maybe anywhere. But the key phrase is “in my opinion”. It also makes a difference whether cost is an issue or not. I’ve read reviews that claim Hardees or Backyard Burgers is the best. Well, for the price, yes they beat something like Wendys or McDonalds, but that’s a whole different category. (In which case Five Guys takes that prize!). But without considering cost, I have to say that the cheeseburgers I’ve had at Firebirds are second to none. I can’t make one as good on MY OWN grill. For a start, because they grind their own beef, they don’t have to conform to those stupid NC regulations that prohibit you having your burger cooked medium rare. But for whatever reason, the end result is superb, and worth the $8.95 . One negative though…their fries, in my opinion are perhaps the WORST I’ve had…they’re those horrible clunky steak-fries. (I almost feel like going in with my own bag of fries from Five Guys!! ) But

I went with 5 other people, and we all loved the food and were very happy with the restaurant. The prices were low, considering how good the food was. It is in a nice area, and the restaurant is welcoming. Good service. Cute bar area. It is a good place for families or for a casual date.

If you want hot dogs with various toppings this is the place. Although it wasn’t as good as everyone said it was. The hot dogs were smaller than the bun. The toppings looked fresh, but lack of taste and zing. When I ordered the Bread Bowl to-go they didn’t even give me the bread bowl. I specifically asked the server, If I didn’t order the Bread Bowl for dine-in..do I still get the bread for take-out, she said yes, but when I got home, NOTHING’S THERE! So I just had regular chilli with no bread bowl. Though I was cheated a little there. 1 small dog, 1 drink, 1 so called bread bowl, set me back $8.50, not filling enough for that amount of money. (unless if I HAD THE BREAD MAYBE)Pros + Various dogs to pick, FastCons – Not much place to sit, Cold food, Bit pricey

Moe’s is one of our favorites for a quick meal. The kids love the Kids meals with funny names. The huge burritos are great – you get to choose exactly what you want on your burrito. Everything is very fresh. The Who’s Kaiser salsa is delicious and they have the best queso anywhere. They have more than just burritos (fajitas, etc.) but the burritos are what they’re known for. You can eat healthy here, too! Good for takeout and eat-in.Pros + Fast, easy and fun Mexican fix. Cons – Menu a little confusing until you get used to it.
