Where is the Best Same-Sex Singles Scene in San Francisco, California?
Bennigan must have been experiencing P.M.S. the night he reviewed this place this is a great bar, the bartenders were very friendly, I didn’t find it clickish at all, everyone was very friendly. They just got a new sound system and it sounded great to me. I met a lot of really nice people and saw some very hot guys also. The drink speceials were really unbelievable, 2 margs for $5.00 everyday and night you can’t really beat that. The place was very clean I really couldn’t find anything wrong with it. I had the best time and made some new friends on top of it. I highly reccommend it.Pros + Good friendly service, good sound system, hot looking peopleCons – cash only
really citysearch? how can the word h*t be inappropriate? you are a prude city search, i am TRYING to tell my peeps about how much fun i had at the cafe, i could have been a lot more inappropriate, for instance, there was that scene on the pool table with that girl from vegas who put her ton**e in my ***** and told me she wanted to ***** my brains out in the bathroom.unfortunately, my ocd kicked in and all i could think about was germs. i can’t even do it in my own house if the dishes aren’t done…seriously. where was i….oh yes…the cafe…what a blast. we will be back! Pros + great company, great music, great time, great great greatCons – the bathroom. yuck.
The Pilsner is located just a few block outside of “Castro proper” which makes it a heck of a lot more appealing. (less of a “suburb” crowd like the Cafe…)Mostly local guys ranging from mid 20’s to late 40’s/early 50’s, not too girl oriented. As a matter of fact, I’ve never seen many girls there, so probably best to leave your fag hags at home. The bar itself is a little small, but they have a nice pool table and a killer backyard area which gets really crowded during the summer. Very casual, levi’s crowd looking to hook up (aka not a lot of posers standing around). Definitely worth a visit.
The space merges warehouse minimalism with sophisticated technology. Inside, clubgoers find a cavernous main room, an elevated stage that hosts DJs and live bands, and plush mezzanine lounges, including a glassed-in room. Up to a thousand partygoers can fill the space, boogying the night away on the cushioned dance floor, sprawling out on upholstered benches and ottomans in one of the loft-like upstairs lounges and taking drink breaks at one of the five full-service bars. The upstairs VIP lounge features dressing rooms and bottle service for the big-spender crowd, while another sports soundproofed walls and a separate DJ, so revelers can party far from the crowds below. But it’s not just all dancing, all the time: The owners have added fashion shows and multimedia art events to the calendar.
