We had dinner last night for only the 2nd time since the remodel, and couldn’t help but remember what it used to be like dining there. The parking lot was almost empty at 5:35pm on a Thursday, which seemed eerie for this place. Once inside I couldn’t help remembering ship hull decor and great bar area where we sometimes opted to dine instead of waiting 15-45 minutes for a table. Food was OK, service was fine, but except for the name and address it’s a different restaurant. I sincerely wish them luck, but won’t be surprised if they don’t make it. Too bad. This place was a landmark.Pros + decent seafoodCons – shadow of its former self, moderately pricy

I was impressed that bread wasn’t mentioned and that the waiter didn’t bring any wheat bread to our table. Usually, in a restaura
