We called an made reservations to have a couple’s massage. We had a small problem finding it at first. HINT:Don’t park out front. There is AMPLE parking on the side but if not looking you won’t see it. We headed inside; the therapists were waiting on the steps for us. They guided us upstairs. She told us before we entered that they were remodeling so “bear with us.” We stepped into the lobby and it was like stepping into a totally different building. She made small talk as she led us to the changing room. She gave us instructions, left us to undress and lock away our belongings. After we changed, we made our way into the sitting room where they asked us what we would like to drink: Organic juices, wine, or champagne. They left us there for a few minutes to talk. So I have to preface this review with some personal info. Firstly – I have extremely sensitive skin. I also have the double “blessing” that it is also problem skin. I am a Latina with olive skin tone and so my sensitive problematic skin also has a tendency to scar after breakouts or rough handling. Lucky me!Secondly- My view of facials is that it is a necessary evil. Why evil? My skin gets very easily congested and so extractions are a must to keep my skin clear and healthy – but extractions HURT! So while the rest of the world gets to think of a facial as a pampering, relaxing experience full of herbs and steam and soothing masks….I get to look forward to it the way I look forward to a dental visit. I also get to look forward to exiting the spa with my face lloking like a red and swollen mess. Very embarassing!Enter my review of Andante Spa and Angelia. This was the very best facial experience I ever had. The spa itself was clean and quiet and soothing…all the regular spa feat

Have you ever gone to a hairdresser and after a few months or years had to change and find a new one to get what you wanted? Well I used to be like that until I found David Bishop! I came, I visited, I stayed. I even followed David when he moved, and the new location is in a more intimate setting with lots more parking available.David is a Master Stylist and gives incredible hair-cuts. Although I love my natural platinum grey hair color, I have seen his work with colors and perms and he does a great job and is very particular. His wife Sandy works besides David and they make sure everyone feels welcomed, they listen to you when you describe what type of service or cut you want, and they follow through on their promises. This is a full service spa, and Sandy gives the best massages ever!! David and Sandy know the meaning of Southern Hospitality and they will give you the special treatment that makes you feel like you are their most important customer! If you want quality se
