Where is the Best Trendy Scene in Orange County, California?
I rated Javier’s to be just about average because I have pros & cons about this joint. Here goes:Pros: The chips & salsa are really good, when finishing our chips & salsa the busboy brought us some more promptly, our waiter was very nice & curteous, the manager moved our seats without any question since we didn’t like where we were sitting, our dinners weren’t expensive (we got $18 plates) & our booth was pretty private. Cons: The hostess was pretty dumb….when calling to make reservations she sounded like a tape recorder repeating the same sentance to questions I had, when arriving at Javier’s to put our name in the one hostess that wasn’t helping us kept staring at my breasts (weird), they were 100% booked for reservations on a Sat. afternoon so we had to slip the manager some money to get us in quick in order to avoid the 1 hour wait, all the women there were blonde white older women who dressed too young for their age, when I walked in being a 22 yr old very dark haired & tan Ita
This San Clemente restaurant had the best wild salmon, cooked perfectly, over wild rice with fresh baby vegetables. My husband had the fish and chips… not just any fish, but tasty halibut was used and definitely enough french fries to share. The menu had a nice variety from casual dining to larger, fancier steaks. There were more children that we expected, but we went early so shouldn’t have been too surprised. Gordon James is known for their fried green bean appetizer and we saw many being served- they looked great. Except for our squeaky voiced waitresss, who didn’t have that attention to detail that great servers should have, the restaurant and evening were very good. Pros + fresh fish
I have been coming to Mosun/Club M in Laguna Beach, California for a little over 3 years now. Every time I went I made a reservation and as soon as I got there I was seated immediately. The drinks were amazing, service was fantastic, and the food was terrific. I have even had dinners there with parties up to 40 people. I have thrown birthday dinners for myself and for friends there but this past Saturday, Mosun really messed up. I made a reservation 2 weeks in advance and confirmed everything the day before. The reservation was for my best friend?s birthday dinner for a party of 25 at 9:00pm. When I made the reservation I told them where we wanted to sit and who we wanted to serve us. Half of our party was there on time and ready to be seated but the hostess said that the whole party had to be there for them to even clear the table. The table should have already been cleared and ready for our arrival!!! Anyways so myself along with the rest of the party arrived at 9:10 and they finall
I read the reviews on here before I went and expected a nightmare. Went on a Sunday right after Tuna Town opened at 5:00pm. The place was pretty much empty. Sure the music was loud but I could still talk and hear from my companion. The food was okay and it didn’t take forever for beer and food to come. But it wasn’t packed either. I asked if the owner David ever comes in and it seems he does but its rare.I wanted to eat at his other place Silvera Steakhouse because sushi isn’t really my thing, to my surprise the steak house wasn’t open for business when it was supposed to. So Tuna town does have a great atmosphere and vibe, food is expensive its in a trendy area.David get your behind back in Korn you quit to run these 2 places and from the looks of it, the steak house out of business and these reviews(besides the obvious planeted stories you wrote yourself with glowing reviews) since you quit Korn show on average Tuna Town is run like krap on a busy night, so just let it continue
