Went back to Blue Ribbon for my 2nd time on Friday night… my group (5 people… they don’t take reservations unless you’re 5 or more) had a 1am reservation so we could make a night out of it. We brought 5 bottles of good wine with us and paid the corking fee ($25/each… a BIT high for me but, still cheaper than buying 5 bottles)… the wait staff could not have been any better. We tasted the wines throughout the night with out waiter(s) and we even decanted one bottle. Started with a massive 3-tier raw bar platter loaded with pretty much everything, including some of the special oysters (DELICIOUS) and crawfish (also a special). Afterwards, we just had to order more oysters (12 more) and crawfish (another pound). The raw bar here is simply delicious. I ate a hangar steak for my entree… as before it was phenomenal and happened to go very well with the bottle of wine we were drinking at the time. We had a banana split for dessert and I had a glass of port to finish up the nig

The prices are a bit steep but the food was really great. I guess this is a case of you get what you pay for. I really enjoyed eating there and will be back for certain.Pros + Delish foodCons – prices are a bit steep

I’ve only been to Landmarc for their brunch which is consistently excellent. I’ve only had friendly and attentive service, so I’m surprised to read that other people have had very different experiences. We love the pain perdue which is their version of french toast. It’s absolutely delicious. Coffee is also perfect (if you like dark roast). It’s a little expensive for breakfast, but on par with other places in Tribeca. There are often kids at brunch which I think gives it a warm and friendly air but if you’re looking for a quieter place then this is probably not for you.

So, I had been thinking about visiting this place for months. I read reviews. I’ve heard mixed reviews. I must say that I loved it! We started out with cocktails in their beautiful lounge and then had dinner in the dining room. We were seated and promptly approached. Our waitress was friendly and attentive throughout the meal. We found out that she had worked there for a few years, so assumed that she would be able to give some good suggestions. And our instincts were correct! Most of our group had steaks (the “Cowboy” ribeye was AMAZING) and one in our group was convinced to try the bacon chop (something we never would have thought about, but we all tried…and loved it!) The lobster mac and cheese was to die for! Our experience was incredible and will be back again!Pros + Service, food
