Bertha’s is the kind of vintage store I thought I’d never find in Austin. There are lovely, high quality items from all eras. There are a number of designer items. The owner is an absolute doll–so kind and knowledgeable! I came away with a bevy of fabulous silk scarves for spring (from the 60’s). Some of the stock is changed out seasonally. You definitely won’t find any nasty Goodwill-type crocheted acrylic sweaters here.Pros + Selection, Customer service, QualityCons – Slightly expensive

It’s a cool little store. I popped in there one day and found this cool little necklace with a pendant of a mountain scene. I thought it was kitchy, but on closer inspection I saw that each little piece of the landscape was a different stone inlay. It was a pretty cool find for $5.
