A group of 4 sat down for a bottle of wine after dinner on Taylor Street. Small Bar room is very cozy and the service was prompt. We drank and people watched for over an hour and it was fun! We will come here again after dinner on Taylor Street…

Great atmosphere, great wines. The wine list is extensive and well chosen and the tasting flights make for some fun comparitive tasting for the enophiles and a good introduction to different wine styles for the soon-to-be enophiles.Retail store attached that sells most/all of whats on the list and is open late. The Tasting room is a good place to relax and have a conversation. If you’re looking for a lively party atmosphere – go somewhere else. This place is for adults who have outgrown the bar experience that includes being packed in like sardines, getting beer spilled on them, and reeking of cigarette smoke for days afterward.

Wow……we came in for a drink on what we expected to be a quiet Wednesday night and were completely blown away…Service was awesome, the bartender-or should I say mixologist-was super engaging and incredibly knowledgable. From the time we walked in we felt right at home, the staff seems genuinely excited about what they’re doing at IFS: short but deep craft beer list, A-Z wine list with a lot of interesting and affordable choices, and AMAZING cocktails…all of the spirits are artisanal and the drinks are way cool! I had a really good bourbon drink called the Deshler and my date had the Moscow Mule…both were dee-lish! Jason (our Aussie barman) turned us on to their dayboat scallops, which then led to another round and a little dessert. The manager was really accomodating and made us feel like regulars even though it was our first time in, and took the time to make us samples of a crazy Absinthe cocktail called the Corpse Reviver that was actually really good. I will be back

Wow. My husband and I went here for dinner last night because his parents had given us a gift card for his birthday a few months ago. The only other time I’ve been to Captial Grille was in Boston over 7 years ago. Dear God, why have I waited so long to return?? Perhaps it’s because I didn’t remember it being quite this good. For starters let me say that the food was phenomenal, the service fantastic, and the ambiance spot on.We decided to begin dinner with a dirty martini (me) and a Sam winter (hubby). My martini was great, and arrived with either a choice of either regular or Blue cheese stuffed olives to complement my martini. Blue cheese please! My husband was jealous and kept stealing sips and eventually an olive.  I haven’t decided if I’ve forgiven him for that yet…Then, after looking at the sizes of the steaks, we decided we would be plenty full by splitting one along with a few sides. Our waiter agreed (surprise, he didn’t try to pressure us into adding an additional $40 to the

I love wine and when great food is added to that equation it’s even better. I went to BIN 36 last week with a couple of friends and will definitely be returning. I honestly can’t believe I’ve never been there, it’s been open for 9 years! The restaurant is a big loft space and may seem a bit overwhelming and not too cozy but don’t let that stop you. We were seated after a bit of a wait (we didn’t have a reservation) While we waited the hostess served us a sip of their featured wine (cool huh?) The server arrived promptly and launched into quite a description of the menus, of which there are a lot, a cheese, dinner, chef’s tasting menu and 50 wines by the glass! The server was great at helping us navigate through all of this and we ordered 4 flights of wine. I had the Express Yourself Flight, I couldn’t resist and was glad I didn’t, it was great, my friends were equally impressed with their choices. We ordered the BIN 36 Cheese Flight, 6 cheese you can’t live w/o is how they de
