Where is the Best Wine Bar in Los Angeles, California?

I have never left this place 100% sober, so I don’t think I can fairly review. It probably says a lot in itself though. Don’t mix red, sparkling, and sake… …‎

I have been here many times. Very good and interesting food. $ for $ a real value. The waitstaff comes off as a little condescending. It’s funny I never seem to see the same people working there even…

My wife and I have been going to Tasca since it first opened. We’ve watched it develop from a secret little place, to the bustling, but intimate, place it is now. We used to laugh conspiratorially with the early customers (who always seemed to be regulars) about how we can’t let the secret out about the fantastic food, service and setting, or we won’t be able to just walk in and get a table, but how we couldn’t help sharing this gem with our friends. I think a lot of people felt that way. Now the secret is out, and it’s full most nights of people laughing and enjoying the food, wine and the company. The staff is excellent, and extremely attentive and friendly. While we can’t just saunter in (unless we want to eat at the bar – which we often do) as easily as we once could (reservations are a good idea), we’re always greeted with literally open arms. Every night we go there, we meet others who are met just as warmly and love the place as we do. We’ve introduced lots of friends

I came here twice, once for my bff’s birthday dinner, and once to hang out at the lounge for a few flights of wine. For my bff’s birthday dinner, they were very accomodating. We had about 30 of us and they laid out a huge table against the glass wine cellar for us. Considering we had so many people, they kept everything in check, including water. The calamari and french fry appetizers were good. I tried the grilled cheese that a lot of ppl were raving about. However, it tasted too “classy,” in the sense that it didnt really taste like grilled cheese anymore. It was like a upscale take on it… The chicken however was delicious! As for the lounge, it’s a great place to kickback with friends. However, its on the smaller side. There’s only 3 tables with booths/sofa’s to sit on. The rest of the area is designated for the restaurant. They do have a bar though. But that’s kinda hard when you want something more intimate. The flights were pretty good. I hear that they change every so often

I had the most amazing breakfast this morning at Monsieur Marcel’s lovely outdoor restaurant in the Farmer’s Market. My daughter and I shared our two favorite breakfast fares, French Toast and Monsieur Marcel’s spin on Eggs Benedict. The French Toast was yummy and uniquely made with a baguette instead of the usual boring bread. It was crisp on the outside but melted in your mouth with abundant flavors that said, “I want more”. Mr. Marcel’s eggs Benedict was also a surprise presentation, served on a freshly baked croissant instead of the usual English muffin with crisp, bacon, perfectly poached eggs and the best Hollandaise sauce I’ve ever tasted. If you haven’t thought of breakfast at Farmer’s Market, here’s a MUST TRY place for the perfect beginning of your day. Pros + Great Place for Breakfast!!—And other meals
