Prana Yoga is my second home. I LOVE the yoga classes, all the teachers are excellent and very knowledgeable about yoga (not just the physical but the spiritual and philosophy) Since the recent expansion the studio is better than ever adding to their staff the best masseuse in the world. As soon as you walk through the door the Front Desk staff greets you with big smiles, making you feel that you are amongst family. I highly recommend Prana Yoga to everyone!!!!!Pros + great teachers and staffCons – n/a

The blinding white and light of the Agua Spa coupled with the lack of doors or walls for most body treatments make this one of the most difficult places to relax. Flowy white curtains throughout the spa may be pretty, but being able to hear every body movement, word or whisper from the therapist or clients in the space next to you is not my idea of an escape! There is little that is “meditative” about Agua and you must certainly use “your universal life force” to remain calm!Cons – lack of privacy, loudness, attitude

I visited several times a few months ago when I was in town for business and learned that my Bikram studio at home is something to be treasured. Bikram Aventura was dirty, damp, and smelled of dirty dogs in the studio area. There was even a used band-aid on the floor near my mat., and during class, the rude instructor accused me of dropping it there when he happened upon it in the middle of class. The same instructor left the room several times and even loudly popped open the exterior door and stood outside during practice (cardinal sins at my home studio). The other instructors were much more mild-mannered, but one of them left the room to answer the phone as well. There is no proper locker room (you can put your purse/bag on a shelf in the studio area). Still, I was able to clear my mind for much of the class and focus on my practice. If I’m back in the area again, I will drive further to go to a different and hopefully more professional and sanitary studio.

Taking Bad business practices to just plain stupid, Local Russian Bath House “Nirvana Spa” Chasing away loyal local clients in the down season… The price of the average Gym/Spa membership monthly in Miami Beach is 50.00, LESS then it would cost to visit Nirvana Spa two times in a month, at $30 a visit. Yet some long time spa clients visit Nirvana once a week or more! Leading to a “off the books’ hierarchy of guests whom receive various discounted rates ranging from $10 to $20 a visit. This Discount has always extended to guest brought in by a Loyal Client, especially if Client is paying for the guests. This has encouraged Loyal “Discounted Clients” to invite guest and bring new clients to Nirvana Spa. This also is a win/won for Nirvana because by paying for additional guest, the discounted member is still spending an average of $30 per visit! As of recent; however, Nirvana spa has began charging there loyal clients Full Price for any guest brought for a visit, and not tel
