Where is the Best Yoga in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania?
Wake Up Yoga is Bliss! If you are a beginner, it is perfect, if you want to advance your practice, it is perfect, if you want amazing workshops, it is perfect!! I have been practicing yoga for over 2 years, after running a marathon I wanted something different. Wake Up Yoga was the perfect place to start a practice. Yoga is more then I ever expected it to be and the teachers at Wake Up are truly special. If you are new to yoga and want a comfortable place to go, this is it. If you want to be totally challenged-take Renata’s T or TH class. I feel so fortunate that this is where my practice was born! Yoga itself is amazing, I have never felt stronger, physically, in my life. Not to mention the empowerment you get from your practice. Spiritually, too, yoga is divine. Pros + 9am half price classes
The prenatal yoga class was wonderful, although a little too touchy-feel Each class started with a general discussion about pregnancy that made me want to yell “let’s get on with it, already!” I’m now taking a Yoga Babies class with my six-month old, which I love: a great way to get much-needed exercise, and also a nice way to meet other hip local moms. Love the serene, minimalist atmosphere. My one beef is that my often-unpredictable infant sometimes makes it hard to get to class, and the make-up policy is not very forgiving: You can only make up two missed classes, which for me is meaning a lot of money down the drain.
The Yoga Loft is a wonderful place if you are looking to build strength, scuplt your body, and feel revitalized after a hard day of work; Ashtanga cleanses my mind, body, and soul. The studio is also great; it’s clean, instructors are knowledgeable, and hours are convenient. You should at least try it once!Pros + Clean, Great Instructors, Convenient Hours
