Where is the Pennhurst Insane Asylum located?
Oct 27, (THAINDIAN NEWS) October the 31st is the day of Halloween. October the 26th is the day when ‘Extreme Paranormal‘, investigates ‘Pennhursts Insane Asylum&Manchac Swamp’, creating a rush of excitement and horror amongst the viewers and the netizens. Airing on Monday the 26th at 10.00p.m, the show has its three investigators, Shaun, Nathan and Jason going to the Pennhurst State School and Hospital that was closed down after abuse and torture, to investigate the reported sightings of ghosts. Pennhurst, a closed down facility (1986), is haunted by ghosts according to the strange sightings experienced by a number of people. The show has all the investigators trying to prove that the ghosts are true and what more, they are even annoyed. The show also goes in to explore the Manchac Swamp. The team travels to the outskirts of New Orleans, where a hurricane reportedly wiped out a full town in the year of 1915. One of the team members is even buried alive so that the team can contact the
Im pretty sure there is NO Tresspassing on these grounds due to vandalism and other reasons. I used to work for a company in Mental Health & Retardation and some of our “Clients” came from this place, it was an aweful place to be. Also there are 2 cemeteries on the grounds. One was for the adults and the other was for the children that were born there and died.
