Where is the the best hotel/area to stay at in NYC?
I spend at least 3-4 nights a month in NY for work. I have stayed in a variety of Hotels and the following is my “expert” opinion! I would recomend the Days Inn. They offer the best price and over all value. the only negative is that they have a minimum stay of 2 days. This hotel is close to the theater district and some great shopping. If you are staying less than 2 days and price is not an option I would try the Sofitel hotel. it is a striking 30-story hotel with 1920’s Art Deco styling – Located 1 block from 5th Avenue shops and 2 blocks from theater district. I would NOT stay at any of the “Cheap-O” hotels that you may find online. Many of these hotels are dirty and have shared baths! I stayed at a hotel like this once and had to go to the lobby to use a toilet (Shared with a gazillion other guests!) I hope this helps! Sources: www.daysinn.
