in a housing next to the water pump, on the front (passenger side) of the engine. Follow the water hose from the passenger side of the radiator (as you’re standing in front of the van) back to the engine, and the thermostat is inside the housing where the hose connects. There are actually two hoses that connect to the thermostat housing-one to the radiator and one to the water pump.
