Where was the appliance deployed from?
This question will be defaulted to ‘Home Station’ however, if the appliance was at another station or location then click on the appropriate option. If ‘other station’ is selected then you will have to select the other station from the drop down list. If the appliance was out local or on a Home Fire Safety visit, you should select ‘other location’. This will require you to add the location whether it be a GPS or an address. This will take some time to complete, but if the appliance was delayed responding to an incident because it was a greater distance from the address, then this will provide the necessary reason for the delay. Questions maybe asked if the ‘home station’ default is left and it took the appliance longer to arrive at an address just around the corner. If you do select ‘other location’ and opt for an addressable location then the same accuracy guidelines apply as they did for the actual incident address.
