Where will the TSE and SPEAK exams be given, and how do I register?
The TSE test is administered 4 times a year at a limited number of test centers throughout the world. It will not be offered at UCI because of changes in ETS’ test format. Additional information about the test including registration information is available on the ETS website. The SPEAK exam is held in the HIRC, 269 Humanities Hall. It is administered four times a year; i.e., approximately three weeks before the Fall quarter, during the 4th or 5th week of the Fall quarter, during the 4th or 5th week of the Winter quarter and during the 5th or 6th week of the Spring quarter. Registration for a session opens three weeks prior to the test date and closes three working days prior to the exam. Once registered online, students must pay the $70 fee at the Cashiers Office in Aldrich Hall within two working days or their reservation will be cancelled and re-registration will be required.
