The Screening Agents in each Association will utilize all available public records to ensure a “due diligence” search has been performed on each applicant. They will use county and state criminal and sex offender databases that are available. Additionally, a third party “national” database, such as ChoicePoint’s VolunteerSelectPlus, will be utilized to perform “single-searches” of available state and county criminal databases and state sex offender registry databases.
