Wheres the Leadership?

New York State Commissioner of Education Richard P. Mills comes under scrutiny again as Long Island senators express discontent by the most recent revelation that New York State Education Department, under the “leadership” of Mills, failed “to monitor a waiver system that has allowed a series of school administrators to collect both six-figure pensions and salaries.”, and exceeding the legal limit after retirement. An estimated 420 waivers have been issued and Mills’ claims no copies of the waivers exist. All nine state senators are seeking Mills’ immediate resignation even though it is alleged that Mills’ future is within the power and control of the New York State Board of Regents, who openly support Mills.
