Wheres the truth in Sobrato football coaches dismissal?
Dear Editor, It was hard to imagine Sobrato teacher-coaches Dan and Norm Brown deciding to leave on their own free will unless something or someone was forcing them to do so. Thankfully someone, in this case the Morgan Hill Times, has made more truths and facts available to the helpless public. As reported March 7 in the Morgan Hill Times, Sobrato is the “moving party” in the Browns’ involuntary leave. Mr. D. Brown’s comment “I wish we could have known what it was we did wrong, so we could fix it” makes one wonder if Sobrato administration was willing to work out differences. It is confounding that Sobrato’s administration could have just cause against not one, but both gentlemen simultaneously, and indicative that something or someone at Sobrato may be sorely deficient. And just as feared in comments heard by the Board on March 4, it all comes out to the public too little, too late, prior to tenure (an all-too-typical scenario), and with unnerving silence from Sobrato’s administration
