None. If they had been scientifically proven then they wouldn’t be alternative medicine, they would just be medicine. In this context, ‘alternative’ actually means unproven. All conventional treatments used for cancer have been rigourously tested and proven in double blind, peer reviewed clinical trials. Wherever there’s cancer there’s someone ready and eager to make money out of the desperation of vulnerable people by selling them ineffective and sometimes dangerous ‘cures’ – herbs, apricot kernels (cyanide), shark catrilage, black salve, mangosteen juice, special diets…and all the other claptrap.
