As a beginner you should only attempt easy poses which you can do comfortably. This will depend on your physical health and age. Any person in the age group fo 20-30 years and physically active in good health can attempt practically most of the asanas, though some asanas will require guidance to ensure that the technique is correct. If age is more than 30 years and health is not so good, restrict yourself to easy poses for a month and then gradually try to attempt difficult poses. Some of the asanas are not to be done if a person has a particular disease like hypertension, diabetes etc. In this case, consult your yoga teacher before starting any yoga sequence.
