I originally thought Robbie Williams too, but he hasn’t sold as much in the last 5 years. Not sure about the direct question but I have done some research about best male solo artists in past 5 years and have found these results: 2007- James Morrison 2006- James Blunt 2005- The Streets 2004- Daniel Bedingfield 2003- Robbie Williams 2002- Robbie Williams These are just BRIT award winners for best male solo artist not best selling. I am taking a guess at Elton John.
