Which car to buy 2000-2002 celica or Lexus IS 300?
This choice comes down mainly to what you want in a car. If you like the sporty styling, but don’t mind a car that isn’t really a sportscar, the Toyota would be the right car for you. Since it’s Front-Wheel Drive, it’s not going to accelerate, handle, or drive as well as a Rear-Wheel Drive car of similar size and power. Also, that wing on the back of the car will actually be detrimental to the handling and acceleration at higher speeds. The wing pushes down on the back of the car, creating lift at the front, which means the front tires won’t have as much contact when it comes time to accelerate and turn. If you like a semi-luxurious car with good handling and don’t mind the somewhat boring looks, the Lexus would be a better choice. It has more power than the Toyota and Rear-Wheel Drive. Based on the pictures, though, the first thing I would do is remove the large wheels and replace them with stock-sized ones.
