Which car, yaris sedan or toyota echo sedan is cheaper on gas and gets better mileage? ?
I have a 04 toyoto echo which I love. But I saw the 07 toyota yaris and it looks pretty good. Which would be better because they look similiar in size. A: They are essentially the same car. Fuel economy is unsurprisingly about the same. The Echo was just the name of the car when it was first introduced into the North American market (elsewhere it was called the Yaris). When the car was redesigned in 2005/2006, Toyota decided to reintroduce it to North America as a “new” model called the Yaris. Using the same standard tests: 2007 Toyota Yaris: http://fueleconomy.gov/feg/bymodel/2007_Toyota_Yaris.shtml automatic: 29mpg city, 35mpg highway, 31mpg combined manual: 29mpg city, 36mpg highway, 32mpg combined 2004 Toyota Echo: http://fueleconomy.gov/feg/bymodel/2004_Toyota_Echo.shtml automatic: 28mpg city, 36mpg highway, 31mpg combined manual: 30mpg city, 38mpg highway, 33mpg combined most owners of both generations of the Yaris in the US tend to report higher than EPA ratings: Echo: https://w
