Which Charles Dickens Novel has sold the most copies?

I agree with LJ K, A Christmas Carol is, no doubt, Charles Dickens’ most popular, well known book. It has been performed more times than any of his others (there are even some silent movie versions) and, most likely, has sold more copies than any other. A Christmas Carol was also incorporated into Charles Dickens’ readings, which he performed all over England and even in America and other places. In fact, the initial printing was on December 17, 1843 (6,000 copies) and they were entirely sold out by Christmas; an extraordinary feat in those days. A second printing of 2,000 copies was sold out by January 6, 1844. See http://www.asksam.com/ebooks/Dickens/Chr… This site http://charlesdickenspage.com/carol.html is interesting, too.
