Which countries were against Germany during the holocaust?
Are you referring to the “sides” of the war or against the holocaust itself. In truth no country was “against” the holocaust. Many countries harboured similar resentments towards the Jewish people and did nothing to stop it nor did they completely denounce it. In fact, many countries quietly closed their doors on Jewish refugees from Europe as they did not want to deal with the “jewish problem”. While it is understood that the holocaust is not just about the Jewish people they are the people most associated with it. Many countries did not wish to dirty their clean hands until they temselves were threatened or their ecconomical trading areas were in danger. Truth be told no one was against the holocaust until mid-war when the stories started leaking out of europe in hushed whispers and everyday people ( not governments) realised what was truly happening.
