Which countries were least affected by the global recession ?

As far as I know, the only country that didn’t suffer so much with the recent economic crises besides India and China was Brazil. Some years before all the banks in the country were carefully observed and controlled to some extent by the government in order to avoid what happened to other banks in Europe and in the United States. And when the crises was at its height, taxes were lowered in many products such as cars, televisions and so on in order to avoid recession and serve as an incentive for people to buy thereby helping production. Up to now, consumption and production continuous at a steady growth and the inflation is practically non-existent.
