Which Credit Card is good ICICI or CITI BANK ?
If it is for the purpose you suggest, ICICI Card will be better, because most online shopping sites offer interest free EMIs on ICICI Card. With a citibank card, you have the option to convert purchases above Rs.2000 to EMIs but you have to pay interest on that. Both cards are free, and both have tie up arrangements with fuel dealers, ICICI with HP and Citibank with IOC, you have to get a co branded card for that benefit, but it will be worth having. ICICI has some very attractive reward programmes, I don’t know much about Citibank’s. If you are prompt in repayments, both are good options, but ICICI sends you an SMS reminder 2-3 days before the due date, so you won’t miss the date. All in all, I would say, for the purpose you have mentioned, ICICI Card is a shade better than Citibank Card.
