I do not know anything about the Fujifilm Finepix, but I have a Cannon and I love it – it is my third camera I have bought and it is very high quality. I even had the memory card door break that was covered by the warranty and it was very easy to ship this back to them and I had the camera back in less than a week. I would go with the Cannon and the batteries that they use are AA batteries. Very easy to replace. I really like my digital camera. The picture quality is good and the camcorder is amazing. I am shooting RC airplanes and they are coming out very well.
