I personally admire a multitude of musicians. Ranging from David Bowie to Bernadette Peters from Broadway, they are all true inspirations to the industry and genre itself. David Bowie I say because he had an amazing sound that truly captivated. Upon listening to him first with of course The Labyrinth which is an interesting sound all itself, then continuing on to his actual music, which had many colors if you will that added texture and life to music. It was a sound that no one had heard yet, and with his style, he crossed boundaries. Prince, who is my next favorite artist was handsome to say the least in my eyes, but also, just like Bowie, changed music. He wasn’t your typical male singer, he seemed to be appealing to not just one sex. He played both sides to get people to keep wanting more and more of his music. Being that he was able to play well over 20 instruments fluently, his voice also transcended boundaries that no other artist had done. His vocal range was something of fiction, and his lyrics spoke to many people on different levels. Of course you can’t forget the fact that he also produced movies based off of some life experiences, and they were all well done musicals. Bernadette Peters is my third but not least performer because she has created an aire on stage and when ever she is on it, she completely takes it over, not because of who she is, but she commands that stage as an actress. She also hasn’t allowed the lime-light to completely taint her and change her into a diva. From what I have heard, is that she is a joy to work with on stage, and acts just like the rest of the actors who are performing on the same stage as her. For that she is admirable, and deserves respect.

To me is David gilmour, from Pink floyd. He created his own style which fits perfect the style of the band. A good thing from him is that in his solos he doesn’t worry of being very fast. All his solo, especially the one from Comfortably numb, are perfect to the song.
