Which is best diet supplements?
I am a certified personal trainer and a licensed massage therapist: providing nutritional advice is beyond my legal scope of practice. However, as we all are, I am permitted to relate my own personal experiences. What you do with it is entirely up to you.
The answer depends on your purpose in taking the suplement and your current health. The very active need higer nutrient levels. However, the sedentary may be sedentary due to alack of energy because their nutritional needs are not being met.
The MDR established by the Federal FDA is the absolute minimum level of vitamins and minerals needed to prevent deficiency diseases. To achieve optimal health, one might need significantly higher levels. As I am quite active physically in my mid-sixties, a low potency supplement is insufficient for my needs. For myself, I choose the highest potency vitamin-mineral supplement on the market. GNC’s Gold brand is my personal suplement of choice: it contains high potencies of the water soluble C and B conplex vitamins, safe levels of fat soluble A, D and E vitamins, and the proper blend of the minerals required by the human metabolism.
