Which is best washing Machine?
Boy is this a difficult question. I have the Whirlpool Duet Sport pair which is great for me because it uses less electricity and gas and gets clothes cleaner, but I wouldn’t recommend it to someone with four kids because it doesn’t hold much laundry. (As a single person I prefer a washing machine with a smaller capacity, because I usually have smaller loads of laundry and don’t want to waste water and electricity.) There is a larger Whirlpool Duet for larger families, but I haven’t used it. But Whirlpool is a good name, as is Kitchenaid and, if you’re in North America, Kenmore. (Surprisingly.) Miele is of course great if you can afford it, as are Bosch and GE. I’d strongly suggest avoiding Maytag for now. The company went through hard times and cut back on quality, replacing steel parts with less sturdy aluminum and even plastic. It is living solely on its reputation of old. Wait until the brand has been rehabilitated by Whirlpool – this may take a few years. I’d also avoid LG. They’r
