Which is better eternal life or nonexistence?

>>>The answer to this question would seem to hinge on where one’s eternal existence is going to be. I believe that everyone has eternal existence, whether they want to believe it or not. For those who are headed towards a negative eternal existence, I can easily understand why they would want to believe that there is nonexistence awaiting. >>>Unfortunately, what one wants to believe and what is actually the reality of the situation are often two different things entirely. Fortunately, for those who still have breath in their bodies, and soundness in their minds, there is still an opportunity to gain that positive eternal existense, just like that one thief on the cross did at the very end of his life.

“Better” is irrelevant. “Real” is what matters. Nonexistence is real. Eternal life is a fairy tale.

Eternal life if that means life with God who satisfies our very desires and fulfills our ultimate expectations for happiness. In this life we are filled with desires and expectations. We have hope that they will be fulfilled. We try to fill them with whatever we can find. But eternal life as only God can give it is when all of those desires are filled. Non-existence means those desires were never fulfilled. If those desires could never be fulfilled would you still want to exist?
