Which is better, Xel Ha or Xcaret in Mexico?
I prefer Xel-Ha, especially if you are taking kids. The grounds are more family-oriented, and I have found the activities better at Xel-Ha than Xcaret. At Xel Ha, they have tubes that your kids can take down the river to look at the fish, in case they get tired while snorkeling. This gives you a chance to be sure they are safe, as they can just ride along as you continue snorkeling. There are also more activities for children at Xel-Ha, and more for them to look at in a small area once they are out of the water. There are cliffs for tehm to jump off of into the river, and a sky walk that you can climb up to see over all of the trees.
