Which is safer, bungee jumping or skydiving?
I don’t have any stats to support my opinion but I will tell you that I skydive and will not make a bungee jump. the issue is about control. When I make a skydive, 262 jumps and counting, I have control of the situation. I have two parachutes and it is my choice to land the canopy or cut it away. To make a bungee jump requires trust in a person I may have never met to make sure the cord is in good shape and that the cord is the right length. I look over my skydiving gear before every jump and it is all on my shoulders whether or not I live, die or get injured. As such I will continue to skydive, and BASE jump because it is my control over the situation.
