For less maintainance u should opt for petrol car. (diesel only if ur monthly travel is more than 1500kms and u live in suburban area) best after sale service are by suzuki followed by chevrolet and hyundai best car for u will be any of new wagon R, Estilo, A Star … select any one u like the looks … all of the share same engine (k 1.0ltr)…. i myself own an estilo and its better than old wagonR …dont know abt new but heard its having good space ….. other car u may look for are Chevrolet beat (most powerful engine under 4 lac) or i-10 (1.1 ltr santri engine under 4 lac… not so good) Ford Figo is also good option but service is worrisome are here … best of luck ,\….and do take test drive ..after all its ur choice …

Maruti Suzuki Eeco Very smooth steering, considering the fact that it is not power steering. Engine noise is almost nil, inspite of the engine is below the driver seat. For the value of 3.2 lakhs on road, you get a family car with 5 or 7 seater and tubeless tyres. Fuel economy of 14 kmpl is reasonable for this size of car. Power with AC on is reasonable and not as bad as Maruti 800. No vibration. Leg space at the second row is reasonable and a person of 6′ height can sit without hitting his knee to front seat. The last row can accomodate persons with 5′8″ max and beyond that is compromise.

My suggestion for a car around 4 lakhs would be to go for a second hand car, 1. In 4 lakhs no new car is available and the ones which are, are still not used and reviwed by people, so cant rely on them. 2. I would suggest you to for diesel car, low maintenance and negligible wear and tear, petrol ones are delicate and premium for Elite use, we need something for Indian roads. 3. Normally after sales service is nothing, its just a selling stunt for the companies around, almost all, because when you need them they will just call you to the workshop\showroom and charge you for the parts deducting labour, which will still be very high and also they will change the things according to the sales target given to them for the spare part department. For your information a dealer earns more than 40% in spare parts and labour. So forget about after sales, just look out for a nice mechanic around the market place and they will be far better. 4. If you need to go for a big one then go for a second
