You need to take the ferry from Ocracoke to Cedar Island. The Ferry ride will take about 2.5 hours. You need to be at the ferry landing at least 30 minutes before it departs. Once you reach Cedar Island you need to head to Harkers Island. It's about a 40 minute drive due to slow speed limits. Follow the signs to the Cape Lookout National Seashore. They are usually brown signs. In Harker's Island you need to catch a passenger ferry (boat) over to Cape Lookout. We recommend Calico Jack or the Local Yokal.
