Which is the greatest Sci-Fi saga?

I’m not sure I would consider Star Trek a saga, it’s more of a universe that allows a unification of stories, or a collection of sagas. Although it’s definately my favorite, I think I’d have to say that Star Wars is the best saga. I think the popularity of Star Wars is an obvious sign of its the ability to reach our primal instincts and draw us in. Just the other day I heard someone suggest that someone was “going to the darkside”, having that kind of effect on the general population is the kind of thing that illustrates how powerful an influence it has. Even the weak view of the prequal trilogy didn’t keep keep people away. And every Star Wars story has centered around a single family tree and the battle of good and evil, so there can be no argument that it’s a unified saga.
