Which key enabling technologies are the priorities in the Personal Broadband Industry Association?
A. Among the technologies and standards included under the umbrella of personal broadband are the IEEE wireless standards, including 802.11a, 802.11b, 802.11g, 802.15, 802.16 and 802.20, as well as wire-line standards and technologies. The technologies that make up personal broadband solutions may include, but are not limited to, one or more of the standards listed above. No one standard will be selected by the PBIA, but rather solutions that include one or a combination of the above.
