Which land snake has the most deadly venom in the world? Is it African Boom slang?
I have heard of herpetologists referring to Boomslangs as having venom that toxic. A subcutaneous bite from an Inland Taipan has the lowest amount necessary for LD 50 of mice. This means it takes the lowest amount of venom to kill 50% of the mice injected subcutaneously, which is the most common type of envenomation. Realize not EVERY snake has been tested.
