I say keep only the furniture you really want & ship it. If you dont care too much for it then get rid of it. Cars actually do cost more in PR. I suggest you look at classifieds & try to figure out an average value of your car in PR. Take the price it costs & add the shipping+tax & see if it equals the value in PR. If so, then you can send it. http://www.clasificadosonline.com/ *also just know that everything you send will be taxed an excise tax when you pick it up in PR. Cars tax start at $750 & it goes up depending on the value of the car. Add that to the shipping price. I sent a car from Philly to PR for about $1000 plus almost another $1000 for tax.
