Which of our existing tools and/or testing methods will Hexawise change or replace?
We estimate, based on our conversations with dozens of testing groups in Fortune 500 companies, that fewer than 10% of testing groups regularly use tool-based methods for Test Design. Accordingly, Hexawise rarely displaces other Test Design tools. As explained above, there would be no need for firms to replace their Requirements Definition tools or methods or their Test Management tools or methods because Hexawise is complimentary to them. Instead, what changes when our clients begin using Hexawise is that traditional, inefficient, manual methods of test case selection and documentation wind up going the way of the buggy whip. Test execution practices change as well when you begin to use Hexawise, but only indirectly. Hexawise doesn’t increase the pace at which testers testers are able to execute each test, but it definitely makes testers more productive. Hexawise improves tester productivity by generating more efficient and effective Test Cases for testers to execute. Hard data shows
