Most platforms will be supported. Our developers have tested on: • Linux; Oracle Enterprise Linux, RedHat, CentOS, Ubuntu, etc. • Windows 7, Windows XP, Windows Vista • Solaris • Mac OS/X • Apple iOS, Android 2.x • Cygwin Systems with support for POSIX should work. Berkeley DB is engineered to use as few operating system calls as possible, this makes it is highly portable.
